I have always enjoyed restoring old dilapidated and forlorn aircraft tugs. Over the years I have found many an abandoned tug rotting away on the edges of airports. They are very easy and cheap to work on. It is a lot of fun to make them a little wild sometimes. Just finished this old Harlan. Took out the crapy Ford 4 cylinder engine and AOD transmission. Did all the body and paint work, upholstery, added a Momo steering wheel and Moon Disc wheel covers. Installed a Chevy 383 stroker motor coupled to a built power glide and dual flow masters. It's a lot of fun to cruise around the airport on. Currently working on a set of wheelie bars as it lifts the front end off of the ground with ease. I don't think it would go over backwards but, you never know.

Thanks. Here is kind of a side view. Really had to shoe horn the engine in there.

NICE! Love the old vintage tugs! Cool Warhawk paint theme. I once restored an old tug that came off of the Constellation. I sold it to a guy that had a T-28 that was once based in a squadron that was also on the Connie.

That reminds me of the first time I rode a motorized bar stool. It had a lot of power and when I gave it back I told the owner it was cool but probably way too easy to get hurt on.
