I think this thread is pretty useless if we don't try to name the colour as well.

Great pictures, Onno. Strange to see a Boxer on an L Plate (Marrone 365 on TGF 269L).

Yes, the owner who did that in 2007 is a member here but he gets no love from me for that decision. Why not just buy a red one if you don't like it! Here's his confession: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233226

Interesting to see my own comments from then, was too kind on him. I am now certainly in the camp of keeping it original, and I love that '70ies colour.

Yes. It is consistently referred to as a 1973 Boxer but it isn't (chassis 17861, May 1974). I have the same car on a different plate too, RPL674R. When it was resprayed in 2007, it wore TGF269L.

There are no recorded carb Boxers delivered in Prugna. Injected, I do not know.

There are no recorded carb Boxers delivered in Verde Germoglio. Injected, I do not know.

That can't be Bianco Avus which wasn't current during BB production. Bianco Polo Park maybe but I'm guessing as I don't know for sure. Also, the "Rosso" car must surely be "Rosso" something

Yes there were some BBis in Prugna but I don't have any pictures unfortunately.

What I called Rosso is what today is referred to as Rosso Corsa but I'm unsure of the description back in the day. Regarding Bianco Avus, this is the colour description that was used in Nathan Beehl's database (comes with the special edition of his book on Boxers) which I presumed to be correct. Maybe f-chatter BlackJag can comment, it was his car.

    Rosso Chiaro very likely then.

I should have known the Bianco Avus thing was Nathan's fault! :)

This Blu Dino Metallizzato with Beige VM3234 hide Boxer on VPA 77M was the subject of a driving report in Autocar as I recall. Though the interior shade in the magazine appeared to be crema, an English favourite.

Also Autocar featured the early 365 GT/4 BB on PROVA MO 137 plates in a silver color much lighter than Argento previously shown>
