Hello, I am new on this forum, I am from France and I have a Yellow 1991 Testarossa. After a lot of problems with the 2 water cooling fans, I decided to rebuilt completely the Fusebox. First version is the prototype and the second version will be the final one (I will start it within the next week). Next pictures All connectors inside the car were changed into standard new ones. First version is done, I will start the next next week. The next version will be outside of the fusebox door for a better maintenance and cooling. Welcome Herve Your car looks fantastic !! I love the giallo fly paint This forum is a great source of knowledge with lots of great members willing to help and problem solve if needed Tr boy P.s I will be travelling through France in late June with another 24 cars including a Bugatti super sport WRE enroute to Maranello as part of a week long driving tour with my car club-it would be great to rendezvous and share an espresso !!!
Thanks As I say all connectors inside the car were changed into standard new ones. (see last pictures, I was 8 hours in the car for the connector replacement). Giallo is a fantastic color for the Testarossa An espresso could be grat ! Were will you go in France? I'm in the east near german border.
hello herve, I´m also near the border to france. about 5 km to switzerland and 3 km to france, so about 30 km south of mulhouse. how far away from you?
Herve/Romano !! Our route through France is Calais to Mulhouse on the 23rd june. An overnight stay in Mulhouse then onto Bormio the following day. Be great to meet up in Mulhouse !! Tr boy
I just got an idea: near mulhouse there is a small private racetrack, called "rheinring" or in france "anneau du rhin" ( » Circuit de l'Anneau du Rhin | Stage de Pilotage en Alsace ) what about meeting there and just make a few turns? but this would need a reservation.
Maybe you can have just a coffee and meet-and-greet there ! Too far for me to come over .... (2 x 700 kms) pitty ...
Dear Ferraristi, Wow....what an amazing job! I really love your attention to detail. I can't wait to see it installed. Ummm.....if you come to Florida and do my fusebox, I'll make you a cappuccino Shamile Freeze....Miami Vice! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Amazing work Hervé !!! Can you tell us a little more ? For instance what type of connectors you will use ? Hope it installs well all in one go .... please keep us informed again wit lots of pics.
I am in the north near Metz, it in 230km away. Yes it could be great, I have to check but I think it will not be a problem. It may be the most expensive cappuccino in the world... but with pleasure I use standard HE15 with 4 to 8 connectors. The cables are about 1.9mm² with max 25A. 4 relay bases (5 relay each) and 3 fuse bases (with 8 fuse) In the next version I will use silicon cables they are more flexible. And the new version will be placed on the fusebox door. This version is in place since 4 months, I have no picture... I will post some soon Everything is running well now. Last summer the engine temp runs to 105°C... now never higher than 90°C, and the voltage are more stable...

Hervé cette vidéo est pure torture pour moi. Je veux une Testarossa jaune. Je l'avais acheté et ça n'a pas fonctionné. Tavumatete Yellow TR is gorgeous.
I just found in the german ebay someone making the 5 sinkers of the fusebox. you may look here: Ferrari Testarossa Sicherungskasten Fusebox Reparatur-Kit Repair Set NEU | eBay but still the old connectors, and those are the problems
Very interesting for the TR boys here I think ... Try and contact him Romano ... he also has other Slow-down Platinen 348 ... Maybe he can make more nice parts for us in future .. ?!?
already contacted him and also got an answer. the single contacts for the relais he don´t have them and can not get. he told me that those could be electro galvanized if they are not "burned down". then they should work again fine. I don´t think so because the bias is still the same as original and this is the main problem as I see it. but good to know where to get the 5 sinkers. may be an address to remember in the future
The main problem is that board will not work with the power going through it. Set up an auxilary copper bussman relay/fuse panel to handle the large circuits like the AC and radiator fans
Good day Hervé , Well i think i have the same problem with my fuse box.I have Testarossa 1991 US spec and when we dismantled the box it is similar to yours. Tell you the truth i like the new modification you did to your car fuse box. I like to have one for my car. When you finish your last version and happy with it then i want you to make one for me. Tell you the truth i communicated with Scuderia Rampante innovations in the state and they are upgrading the fuse boxes. But i am holding this move if you agree to do one for me. I will be waiting for your feed back. Thanks
You probably should have had a look at my site and followed the link to the wiring location pin out PDF before you began. That's what the Search facility is all about. This may help some others though. Fuse Panel Repairs Page One Wiring diagram on bottom of page two.
