There is something strange about this guy. His initial ad had pictures of a black on black car and when I asked him to explain it he came back with smart a$$ answers. Personally I think its a fraudulent ad and moved on.
As I plan on making a single mirror purchase in the next 3-4 months, I noticed this post and had to laugh. $65K and he leads with photos of the boot and no exterior/interior shots.. Seriously flawed
I prefer not to buy exotic autos form sellers with 'BBQ' in their user name. Which is hypocritical because I like BBQ.
I'm afraid to ask for more photos. May get some of the boot struts and battery. PS awaiting Mr Chairmans response on this
I didn't even know they made grey trunk carpets for the TR (seriously). Ultra rare maybe then? It must be the main selling point, who cares about the rest of the car.
Lol I saw that ad too and I was like 'Look honey! He has a spare tire! This is the car I've been waiting for my entire life! Who cares about how the rest of it looks - LOOK AT THAT SPARE TIRE!!!'
My initial reaction was, "Ok so thy poor guy had problems loading some pictures etc." Then I saw it had 50+k on the odometer AND no belt service AND he was asking $65K. What a maroon. And Ozzi.....In one of the pics you can see a helper propping up the hood, so I think its safe to assume the hood shock are toast. I just had a thought, maybe Mrs. BBQ ordered him to sell the car. "OK Mrs. BBQ....Its up on Ebay but no bids yet Gob Dammit!"
Whhat more do you need to know? It's an ORIGINAL STRONG DRIVER or whatever he said in the description. Plus, it has a steering wheel!
I couldn't believe this ad either. Been looking for a black/tan high mirror for a while, this is not the one.
