Pete from Thomas Sunday Transport rolled up last night about 9:15pm. This was after a series of calls letting me know his progress. Very professional. As you can see from the crappy cell phone pics it was dark out but we got the job done. She is just Incredible, I couldn't be happier!!!! Of course it has no tag, (grrrr.) so no drive yet and it is raining this morning. I will get her tagged tomorrow. Then spend some quality time with her out on the road, the anticipation and months of waiting were about to kill me-LOL! Pinch me, I feel like this is a dream.
Haig, my first drive will be for you, I know we share this passion.
More to come as I have questions about this button and that switch!

Good for you! A great day, and many more after that await! Take your time, learn the car, hand wash it soon to get familiar, read the manual (even the stuff you know). Catalog the bits that came with it.

I know you are probably doing this anyway, but these early adoption days are the finest, setting the course for the remainder. Enjoy!

Enjoy it and bond with it. Learn from others on the Forum and don't be afraid to ask. And by the way, I discovered a switch on mine 4 years after I bought it.

    Enjoy her in good health.

Congrats Blake! It took me a few days to get plates on mine after arrival and it killed me! That was over 7 years ago. (Now I am just waiting for the blasted snow ans salt to go away...) Enjoy her for many miles!

Thanks Christain, I am beyond spoiled with space, but it's gotten pretty full in the last few months. there are 18 cars and a forklift in the shop right now. A couple will be going away soon, but I have my 996 at the body shop a and a T-Bucket being finished at the hot rod shop, so that's a zero sum. Give me room and I will fill it-LOL!

I think I've seen that car somewhere before Blake.

I am so very happy for you.

Buying it from Richard at Competezione was a great decision on your part, IMHO.

Drive it like you stole it!

I am waiting for mine right now. 85 Flying Mirror at the shop for service then will be on it's way to me. I hope you enjoy your car, it looks amazing. Watching You Tube vids on what exhaust to get. Should have mine in a couple of weeks. It's hard to understand the critics of these cars, they are so stunning in person, maybe that's the problem, most don't ever get to see the lines up close.

Enjoy, hope you get to drive it this weekend.

Brought her home tonight, up to the North part of OKC in the AM for fuel. 93 octane is only available at a select few stations. Otherwise we are stuck with crap 91. Then off for a drive and back to my shop by 10, when the hordes descend to work on their cars. Gotta squeeze F1 qualifying in the AM also. So much to do, so little time!

Washed her last night for the first time. Learned a few things, I didn't realize there was red marker light on the door edge. Maybe because the drivers side is burned out-LOl! Learned that you can dry behind the side strakes by opening the doors. They seem quite delicate. The rear valance sure goes way back under the car. Oh, and the dirty little secret of a TR, there is about 2 square miles of surface area to dry after the wash-sheesh! Overall the paint and body are in great shape for a 24 year old car, wheels are next to perfect. Front spoiler has a few scrapes, nothing that cant be fixed.
She will look great for C&C tomorrow. :)
