    Hello,

Maybe somebody can help. I took my 1993 512TR after a longer time for a ride today.
Everything works well except the Revcounter. It shows around 40% of the revs the engine does in real.

Therefore the car stood a longer time, maybe its only some minor cause.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,
    Kuntatsch

I have the same issue until I blip the throttle quickly on heel toe downshifting and it fixes itself. Not something I am going to bother fixing. If you find an easy fix please let us know!

My rev counter would start to get 'sluggish' after about 40 minutes of driving. Then it would hang out at 1,500RPM and sit. I checked everything I could think of then pulled the instrument cluster and took it to Hollywood Speedometer. Apparently there is some electrical magic stuff in the tach. $200 bucks to fix including all new instrument lights as a preventative measure.

Disclaimer, My car is a 1990 TR. Not sure of the inherent mysteries surrounding the 512.

    Hello,

drove the car today and the Rev counter received some slaps - didnt work. So I have to check if its the sensor. The rest works perfect ..... that comes, when these cars are not driven on a regular basis .... :-/

I've heard great things about Hollywood Speedometer. May need to send it to them?
