456 is on the fritz, the cs is in the shop, the 512tr is too wide, and the f40 is too impractical. so the bb got the nod to take me to my appointments today.

    couple observations
    - its easy to park a vintage car (apart from the steering effort) because they are just not that big. i easily fit in between two other cars in the lot.
    - nobody sees a 512bbi too often.
    - it still pulls like a freight train.
    - in town, i can park in front of any hotel i want - they are always happy to give me a spot
    - they are very very thirsty....

You have a 456 as well as an F40 and Boxer? That's like having Hamburger Helper and Filet Mignon! :)

Yes, good point. The Porterhouse or New York Strip of the bunch as well.

I like that. Pressing the Boxer into service. Gotta go to work.

I remember pressing my old Daytona into service. It is great to be able to do that, whichever car you choose.

    Thanks for sharing Ross.

An observation that never ceases to amaze me is its ability to take a set of train tracks as smoothly as it does. Its almost cadillac smooth yet it handles which I attribute to the XWX tires and great suspension. My wife's lincoln SUV and my SRT-10 truck could take a lesson from the BB in ride quality!
