    Good day RufMD,

    Wow... what strong prices!

Also not to be picky... but it may be best to minimize the number of threads on a particular car (i.e. chassis number) and post within existing threads (i.e. do search on a car's chassis number to see if any threads currently exist). I say this, as it makes it much easier to research and/or archive a car's info/life if the data is not scattered throughout.

    Cheers,

    Sam

I was told that the low low mile bb that Paul inspected went for approx $480k total inclusive of buyers premium. I think some were hoping that particular 512 bb would command $500k...still a big number.

271k for an 81 bb with 26k on the clock is a big number too.

makes my bbi with 12k about a $200k + car now.

    time to raise the insurance

Yes, now the sales Price has been updated to 550k on Rick Coles auction website. Is the buyers premium on top of that? - anyway now especially the 365BB has become a truly expensive and much more appreciated machine (as I should have been long ago compared to the Daytona etc...). It may be the last call to buy a 365BB´s and maybe also 512BB's before the totally gets of of reach for more "normal" people.. :)

High bid on the 81 BB that Rick Cole had was 276k -- with buyer premium would bring the final number to 303.6k! Don't know whether it sold at that bid or not.

That is a sold price. I don't know the condition of this car, but the listing says painted to a "period correct rosso corsa over boxer trim" which I infer as not being the original factory color combo for this car. It did claim it have a major service.

    Did anyone inspect this car?
