This color red does not work on any car! Its a buick colour from the 60's... Funny I like the light blue..tre chic by me!
I personally like the combo.......car has been sold loooooooong ago. unless, of course, back on market now with staggering pricing?? Jack
And also, how hard is it to disconnect the speedometer / odometer cabling anyway? I gotta think some of these low-mileage cars had that happen to them.
color looks simply elegant!!! lovely...maybe the prettiest color combo I have seen on an m. looks very similar to the rosso metalizato from my qv.
Nothing works on the M, it is the ugliest car Ferrari has ever made in it's on right, much less that it evolved from one of the most gorgeous cars Ferrari ever made.
Personally I think its an old mans color.. An Old old man with a silk and velvet smoking robe and a pipe...ala Hugh Hefner.. But I respect all you old guys who like it!!!!!! There is a moral to this thread... ___________________________________________________________
There is a 512TR in Newport Beach exactly that color. It is stunning live and in person. A picture does it no justice. On a Porsche, Jag or Mercedes I would say it is a chick color, NOT on a TR...very classy.
It's the nicest M I've ever seen. I don't like them but in this color combo I could live with it. But the tailights just don't fit the car.
I like that one, didn't it go through a US marshal's sale a few years ago? BTW, worst I saw was an M in yellow with blue leather interior ouch!
Just watch, in 20 years that car on the grass at The Quail will stand out among the Rosso Corsa's, Nero's, and Giallo's like a rose between thorns. By that time it will truly be an "old man's" color, lol! I have always been vexed by the "M", to my eye Ferrari fixed the rear (with proper round taillights that many dislike) and wrecked the front with the unsightly plexi covered fixed headlights. Even with my not-favorite twist wheels, that rear quarter shot is a classic in my eyes. In the end, the "M" overall design is just confused and conflicted, imho. I really want to like it more than I really do.
I think the M has a magical aura to it, despite not being classically beautiful. A bit like the Alfa SZ... And in terms of color, anything dark works well on the M, especially nero and cane di fucile, as dark colors help the headlamps integrate and tones down the stupid smile of the front grill. Exception? azzuro light blue works on ANY Ferrari!
