Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tom and I am a Brit living in Zurich, Switzerland. Have had my eye on a 512TR since I was a little kid and now am in the fortunate place to have the means to acquire one. Would like to learn from the wise folk here how to go about it all (all ready read pages about diffs and things I would never have known about otherwise!). So hopefully I'll be able to contribute with some TR experiences of own in the not too distant future. Cheers! Tom

Hi Tom, I just bought a 512 TR last week - after having dreamt of one for the last 20 years... I can only encourage you to do the same, as it's a fabulous car and a near-spiritual motoring experience.
Welcome to the F-World. Great folks here. Read, search and ask questions. If you find the "right" car, don't hesitate, the market is kind of crazy right now. Secure with a deposit, get a PPI and inspect the car personally if at all possible. Good cars don't sit for long. Good luck in your search
