How to remove a Boxer ashtray

    Can anyone tell me how to remove the ashtray form the sill on a Boxer? I can't see how to get this out and I don't want to damage it.

    Also, can the leather covered sill cover be taken off without dismantling the interior? Again I can't see how to do this.

    Pull it out. Grab the chrome bezzel and pull up. Under that are two screws that hold the sill cover to the floor. Remove seatbelt anchor belt. Lift from the front and pull it out from under the rear corner panels.

    Well Paul's way is the way I remember doing it so I'll try it that way again tomorrow but .......

    ....... I reserve the right to go with Howie's suggestion if it doesn't work.
