Does This 512 Belong here with us Blokes?

One of the comments in the article said there were no engine internals. The video is said to be of the car only going down hill or being pushed off camera. In one of the first scenes, it is going down hill and up the other side of a little valley. It appears to be loosing steam and stop while going up hill, then it cuts to another scene.

 

I briefly considered building a recreation of the 512S Pinanfarina, which was a working car with similar looks. Because I like the tranny behind the block. But I'm going to try to stay true to my race car idea.

I'd probably only seen that photo once before. Thanks for placing it here.

 

I always understood it was a non runner. Simply a design exercise. Cool non the less.

I have heard that the 512 design evolved from the Pininfarina P6 Concept Car from 1968:

Ferrari P6 Berlinetta Speciale (1968) ? Old Concept Cars

Looking at the nose you can especially see the similarity
