Thanks for info! Unbelievable that people don´t even bother to wash the car before taking sales photos Cheers
I was thinking the same thing!, and at least pick a better location for taking photos, they are asking a 1/4 Million Dollars.
Some people like seeing the dirt. If you base your purchase on pretty back grounds and a detailed car this one isn't for you. But it is for someone else.
HAHA The car is located in a dust bowl. I guess their thinking is; why even bother, it will only get dirty again before we can even dry the damn thing!!! I would be willing to bet that this car's paint is one big swirl mark.
I had someone inspect this car for me about 2 months ago. It needed a total restoration and had an aftermarket dash configuration that I had not seen before. I hope the new buyer knew what they were getting into.
Good day All, Just adding documentation... Is the rear bumper assembly off a BBi? I say this, as my assembly does not have lights embedded within it and mine is a 1977. Hey aren't they the characters in the movie "Grand Prix" Looks nice to me, but a little dirt does not bother me. I have never hurt any of my cars washing them. Having them washed is another story.
This is my old car, its been in my garage I didnt have the car listed for sale the buyer came out saying he was buying the car for his birthday present planning on an engine out etc.Looks like he just wanted a quick flip. Looks like it sold fast,
Total restoration lol the guy you brought out was a waste of time for everyone I spent half the day with him on the car. It needs a engine out service and dash replacement if it wants to be original again. Sold twice in a week yeah car needs total restoration
Those are pics when he got the car he took never thought he would use them to flip and sell the car or blast pics all over internet like this of it.For those of you with q tips washing there cars I just pulled out out of my garage as is lol.
We can agree to disagree. As long as you're happy with the money you got from your deal, that's all that matters. Congrats on the sale.
A little OT, but did anyone notice the pic of the interior showing the seat? It doesn't have the traditional belting with holes... I've seen a few cars like this. Are these aftermarket seat covers?
cnpapa, The pessimist in me says your PPI guy talked the car down to you and bought it himself. I hate flippers.
I can tell you with confidence that was not the case. He is a longstanding member of the Ferrari community and knows Boxers nearly as well as anyone out there. It would not be worth it to him to to risk his reputation in order to make a few quick bucks on flipping this car.
The interior is incorrect in almost every way. I dont understand the dash unless it was an attempt to provide a half decent a/c system. The extension of the rear upper heat shield over the stock exhaust is strange. Needs a lot of work. I would love to see this car in person!
