    Well, I pulled the trigger and bought the '91 TR from Symbolic. I know it needs a major and I'm sure some other odds and ends but looks to be a foundation for a good driver. I didn't have PPI done but what's the worst that could happen;) Carfax shows low#/long-term ownership history and mileage (46k) must mean its been maintained. Pics and condition update to follow upon arrival.

    Good for you! too much worry out there. Drive! I recently met a nice fellow with a 94 512TR whom has 76k miles and loving it, He had no idea of the worry reports most on here post about. "diff granted" but still

    Maybe you should let Symbolic know that it is still for sale on Ebay with a Buy it now. If someone clicks it is technically their car or Symbolic will be defaulting on a transaction

    Congrats. I also thought that would make a good driver. Looks like leather on dash may need a little work. Looking forward to pics and condition update. Best of luck!

    Here's on photo. Car is pretty much what I expected. A driver quality car. I assumed I'd be doing a major along with a punch list of other items. However, second gear sure is noisy. In all the service history there were multiple estimates to resolve this but no record of repair. Oh well. Certainly not the end if the world. Otherwise, I like if and it looks good.
