I was delighted to have the opportunity to shoot a Boxer and a Testarossa that joined us. Many different camera angles, great audio, and I don't know of any other videos that shows a Boxer being driven hard like this.

I actually drove past the "yellow" TR last Saturday and from memory it looked yellow. The vid however makes it look like a fluorescent lime. Is that just a visual thing or is the car really an unusual color?

    Cool video, but two questions...

    1. Wow, the Boxer was sure shifting quickly! Do you TR owners find it's as easy to shift fast as well? It might just be the way I drive my TR (like a senior citizen), but I usually find that I need to 'blip' the throttle to rev match, even when upshifting because the throw is so long!
    2. Why would the yellow TR owner show up if he didn't want his face in the video?

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm a bit surprised to hear that this is normal driving, most of the Boxer videos I've seen are just driving like a daily driver. I do appreciate the honesty though, and if there is video of a Boxer actually being driven hard, I would love to see it so I can get an idea of what it looks like to see a Boxer being driven hard.

It was definitely yellow, it's probably just the color correcting I did.

    Yep

Harder than most videos for sure, harder than average at least we hear some revs. But yeah hard, probably no real videos of that.

Hey its harder than I see other boxers going, both in the flesh and on video.

BTW what exhaust does that boxer have.

Looked pretty tame to me........ No drifting, power shifting or redlining in that video... but I guess it is all relative....

Most important thing.... they looked like they were having fun with their toys...

I just watched the video again, and I can kind of see where you guys are coming from. It's definitely not WOT Autobahn driving or anything like that. I think it's mainly because every Boxer video I've seen showed nothing but driving the speed limit. The driver in this video definitely punched it quite a few times, and I haven't seen that at all in a Boxer. I'm not sure that I would call it "normal" driving though.

I do appreciate the honest feedback from all of you. Just like anyone, videographers make mistakes and errors of judgement, and this can only help me get better!

Very cool...it's great to see these two siblings being driven together. Thanks for sharing the video Chris.

I sure hope Mr. Anonymous in the TR has a tough seat cover under that German Shepherd. I guess on the plus side having that dog parked in the passenger seat beats the hell out of LoJack...

when I move my BB after it is warm I often accelerate to the red line and also often I´m beyond the speed limit but this is what a BB is made for. over 4000rpm it makes soooo much fun. but also I must say: 1 hour driving and all recorded then I may give my license for 3 years to the government.
but: no risk - no fun

Could this be the wrong video?

If that's "driven hard", how would many of us be described?
"Could this be Michael Schumacher on the ragged edge?" :D

    I agree with Turbo-Joe!
When I had my BB, I loved to run it around the back hills curves, corners and straights at around 4000 to 6500 RPM, mostly in 2nd and 3rd gear, and into 4th.
The engine would just sing at these RPMs, and the car felt really alive!
