I have excess play in my steering rack, 40K miles... I did a search on this issue and found only one thread... (I have found the search engine for this site to be hit and miss....), so if there are other threads on this that I have missed, give me a hint were to find it. It seems to me that if you are going to have a shop rebuild, they have to re-temper, etc... not all shops are the same... anyone have the name of a good machinist/shop doing these that have survived as good as (rolling eyes) OEM? (Bill at GT Parts had a guy doing them for him.... 6/14 post, anyone else?) (If my Dad was still alive he would knock this out for me in his shop in a heart beat....lol) Thanks Louise
