Some history of a life well-lived in the catalog there, including history of a carb fire, a seemingly thorough rebuilding, and wearing 4-point belts: https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/16671/lot/201/ My only other record shows original CH delivery car. I don't have the original color record.

Hi there Just to clarify that cars are a differnet rate than the other items sold at Bonhams Motor Cars and Motorcycles (excluding Automobilia) 15% on the first £50,000 of the Hammer Price 12% on the excess over £50,001 of the Hammer Price Great looking car.
Is the throttle linkage supposed to be chromed? Did the 365 have a totally different starter? Hope the new owner enjoys the car.
this is a good looking car. will leave it to newman to tell us where it is off spec. my prediction is that it will go for around 500k
There are some detail errors for sure like hoses and clamps, starter, exhaust is not OEM but I wonder why they chromed things like the door strikers and other items. None of these are a big deal. Something I noted is the two vertical bars on the inside of the front clamshell on either side of the nose badge. These were added to strengthen the clam in the 512 line after 76 but im not sure exactly when at the moment but 79 and up for sure. So it may have had a front clamshell replaced. Headlight motors should be plated metal, hardware holding hinges onto clam were painted over when the car was painted at the factory because of how they disassembled the car for paint after panel fitting.
