Posting for a friend, looking for a Tr or 512 in Red or Yellow, preferably low miles. Any leads would be appreciated. tx
WHERE do you live F friend Galileo ? It helps if you introduce yourself; for instance where do you live ? If in Timbuktu it is an other matter than in China ... I myself live in Europe ....
The 512 has set sail. I would opt for a NICE Testarossa for almost half the price. Maintenance is almost the same, less of an investment of money upfront , and equally fun to drive. The other upside is if it climbs in price a bit you get the assets benefit. If the car market stalls or dips, you dont have to worry about the car falling to hard in purchase price either. Really depends what the purpose of the car is.
this is good advice. I like the thinking regarding upside opportunity and downside risk mitigation. both cars are actually lovely to look at and are distinctive and true pinninfarina and true Ferrari. good luck w/ the search! pcb
What is your budget? There can be a pretty big price difference from a Testarossa to a 512 TR to a F512M to say the least... From a low of about $75K for an okay Testarossa to nearly $400K for a nice F512M in the USA.
Big Red, couldnt agree with your more. Car is for a friend. He is looking for the best he can find. Budget up to $175k for the perfect 512.
