Dear F friend, please introduce yourself, what's your name, what colour TR did you find, wher do you live etc .... it helps ... There are here numerous threads abot our carcovers ... so do a "search".... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry but Im not one for giving out personal information on the web. I notice everytime someone new posts you and the guy from Germany always ask them to provide this info but some of us just dont like to hand it out. Sorry.
Mel is our official greeter! We don't need your SS# or the 3-digit code off the back of your CC. Some basic info. can make answering questions easier, or it may make it easier for us to ignore future questions. So lighten up (slightly), enjoy the camaraderie of the section or just learn how to use the search function, because your question has been answered at least once within the last year. this guy from germany is me, and my name is romano or turbo-joe, only for your information, but you will never see a post from me when you ask some, also sorry right also in a human world in real you also introduce yourself when you like to get some for free. and in this forum here is so much accumulated knowledge for free that you will not find at any other place, primarily here in the forum Boxer/BB/TR also right
Just fill out something like 'Hi my name is Tiago and I live in South America.' Its a lot easier to say 'Bob' than a bunch of random numbers and letters. You dont have to be specific but it helps to answer your questions like Steve did in the other thread. He needed to know the year and engine family. But I digress and will answer your question in the spirit of community Other members here have found that the stretch satin cover from a 360 works well. Californiacovers.com also sells a tailor made stretch cover in the $300 range.
Except they can't spell Testarossa-LOL! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/boxers-tr-m/456089-lol-california-car-cover-company.html Plus your question is further answered in that thread. And Romano is our other official greeter, sorry Romano!
My car covers are fantastic. Just enough stretch and very gentle for my car paint...but I am not prone to give that kind of info at large so that ANYBODY from ANYWHERE can take this kind of sensitive data and annoy the vendor with anonymous request... And I do agree that "this guy from Germany" is getting boring to read...All this information he is giving away so nicely is getting on my nerves!! 😆😆😆
This was pretty funny, especially the 3'digit code part. Thanks for the chuckle ! Seriously, I think we all need to lighten up a bit on new posters, myself included.
Thanks for some of the links guys. looks like one from a 360 is more what Im looking for. Cheers again.
Anyone have an recommendations for an outdoor cover? Sorry if this hijacks the thread, its kind of relevant.
Any 3 or 4 layer carcover will doe imo; you do not need "ears" in wintertime ... I also have a red "outside" carcover because weather in NL is not the best .... and it helps against CATS ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've got an indoor/outdoor for about $150 from a company called Car Covers. Fits perfectly although it does not have mirror pockets. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Classic Additions out of the UK allows you to customize the cover to match your car,( color, piping, logo, mirror pockets).
I confirmed my 360 cover does fit the TR. I was surprised. That could be a good alternative Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very slim fit, but does the job and easier to find 360 OEM covers with the horsey on the front Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
