YUCK! THat's what a TR with stock exhaust sounds like?!?!?! I've only heard TRs with aftermarket. Mine has Tubi.

    That's proper engine music!

Modern supercars just seem to have a real high pitched, tinny almost false sound - but the Testarossa with a decent exhaust sounds so mechanical.

Mine never seems to crackle on deceleration like that one though - unless u just can't hear it from inside - or maybe it's my grandad style driving and I don't brake hard enough in a low gear!

I have an original copy of this on vhs. I ordered it on amazon back in high school, it was backordered forever and showed up at my house a few months later. I was pumped! I'll have to see if I can dig it up. It is dubbed over in english, however, it also has the interview with Sergio Pininfarina which is probably the coolest part.

Don`t know how I missed that on this thread - thanks so much for posting it. After watching it I had to go in the garage and make sure I did actually have one - still can`t believe it even after 3 years!

Despite that VHS quality and the fact I couldn`t understand a word - I think it`s the most captivating Testarossa vid I`ve ever watched.

He sure wasn`t shy driving it - and considering it`s a GT car it just seems to look more purposeful the harder it`s driven.

I think the gentle bobbing around and little bit of roll and dipping and diving here and there makes it more fun to watch than an F40 or even Countach in action.

Don`t get me wrong I`d have a Countach any day over mine (probably the only car in the world that I would prefer though) - but in motion there`s just something really special about watching the Testarossa.

I don`t know if it`s the way it widens at the rear so it always looks off track when it`s heading towards you but it messes with your brain lol, I never get tired of watching it!

Anyway thanks for that - and yeah a dubbed version would be good too :)

    I wouldn`t turn down a Twin Turbo either :p

yeh, I liked that comment regarding the Countach too :D

here's a classic we've seen before but worth reposting. That Kavinsky really loves his Testarossa. I'd be very surprised if he's not around here.

The Testarossa engine (in it`s various forms) has such an amazing sound!

I think the only engine I like the sound of even more is the 3.9 version of the Lamborghini V12.

To me they`re just the 2 most exotic sounding engines in the world.

Time to go out and have another listen!
