    Hello....I am looking for the full set of luggage for a 1988.5 TR, does anyone have any idea how to find a set or know anyone looking to sell a set???? Thanks in advance......

    have a look at ebay, there you sometimes find something, but very rare to find all 5 pieces at the same time.

    If you keep looking you'll find one. Black are very hard to find but tan are easier.

    I currently have three sets of luggage, and have had five sets over the years. Keep a look out on e-bay buy and sell until you have a full set, may take some time. The T/R is now gaining interest so may be a lot harder than in the past but worth doing now! My best set, I would not sell for less than 5K and then I would rather have them than $ FYI. Good luck.

    like Al said. I set up an alert on ebay and just waited. I was able to get the full six piece set for $2500. Just be patient.

    What I have seen the last 6 years: lots of TR folks searching, some succeeded. Some spent a fortune on shipping ...

    Then sold them again because they were never used ... and only take space...

    Mel I agree they take place and are never used. I think they are cool to have as part of a complete car. Great for display to set the car apart from the crowd. And possibly a little asset to some buyers when time to sell the car.

    Mel and Claude...agree 100%...Collectors item,i was searching for them also,but what the heck... if someone is willing to pay a billion for my car he/she can also afford half a billion on the bags.I enjoy my TR on hollidays and meetings with 2-3 softbags in the front...
    But as Claude says........They are cool:)

    I have a 512TR set in black. Take note that the 512TR set can not be totally fit in a TR. The 512 has a deeper trunk because there is no spare tire and each large luggage is thicker. You would have to remove the spare from the Testarossa to fit the 512TR set.

    I love the silver/red... no, that was not mine... I searched everywhere for red but it was hard to find. I ended up finding Natural so I purchased it. I sure miss my TR.

    …but don't put too much in them.

    I recall the 'pay load' of these cars at about 400 lbs...

    Moe if you are seriously looking for a black set I recommend watching this one. They do not come often available in black.

    Claude that's very kind of you, Thank You, but I think a lot of people here are watching that set.

    I did a quick search & while sets of luggage for any F car are not plentiful, they do show up from time to time & there were some TR sets that appeared here on FChat too over time.

    That auction site adds 25% buyer's premium to the cost & then it seems (if I have this right), that after internet bidding is closed, someone can show up at the physical auction for another two days and outbid you.

    I wish it was just posted on Ebay, or the owner took some offers from some of us here

    Let's see how crazy the bidding gets...
