"... prepared the Testarossa for Classiche certification." That sounds like a lawyerly way of saying it doesn't have it but implying that it does.

I too love the color combo, stunning. If I was in the market for a Testorossa, this would be a strong contender.

How would you describe that color to people, though? "Prugna means prune... it's the color of a prune... I mean, a dried plum..."?

    :)

Classiche is a lengthy process--hopefully he means he has been working with a dealer that has supplied the proper documentation and he has submitted the fee. Definitely something a potential buyer should clarify. For me...not a deal maker or breaker but for some this could be significant.

I really like "off color" TRs, and this one is gorgeous !

Gotta be one of only a very few in that color.

Prugna is actually the Italian word for plum. Prugna secca would be prune.

    Not on ebay any more.

There is a place that says "pending".

Maybe someone got themselves a plum.

This is a color one should view in person. Everyone has a different opinion on it. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder on this color.

If this car was at F of Ft. Lauderdale, my guess is it was pristine. I knew it would sell fast.

Prugna Crema is a great color on a 308. Have to see it in person on a TR.

That car still has its original tires. For 135 large you'd think they could find $500 in the budget for a set of BFG's.

Our TR has nearly twice the mileage and nowhere near the wear and tear. The mileage is in question or more likely it just wasn't cared for.

The statement about "prepared for Classiche certification" just means they put all the stock parts back on it. If an application was in the works you can bet they would have said so.

Sorry but I'm not feeling it. This is not a top dollar car. I see better pretty regularly.
