Hello, Just bought a 1991 Testarossa in white w/ tan interior. I was speaking with an informed source who told me that only 1 percent or less of all the Testarossa's produced came in white. I was wondering if indeed that is the case. Regards .
Anyway with your username you should have a black one ;-), seriously I'm keeping a registry of the TR and out of 563 cars I have up to now 32 are white which is approximately 5.6%. Rank by popularity in the registry 1st=red-367 2nd=black-71 3rd=white-32 4th=yellow-30
Awesome! Thank you for the information. I guess that puts the 1 percent issue to rest. Many thanks!! Cheers.....
Total of 563 367 Red 65% approximate for the registry 71 Black 12.5% 32 White 5.7% 30 Yellow 5.3% 16 Blue 2.8% 15 Silver 2.6% 5 Prugna 0.9% 5 Gray 0.9% 1 Gold 0.2% 1 Green 0.2% Please understand these numbers are NOTHING official, they are only based on the cars I have in the registry.
That color breakdown is very interesting- Thanks for the post I'm a black fan myself, but all the colors look nice Red is a no brainer, white is undeniable, Yellow is hott on these cars and most any of the odd colors look Good too It's really hard to go wrong with any color- It depends on what floats your boat...
Cool photos of the cars in various colors ! Thanks for sharing. Man, the TR looks soooooooo wrong in any of those greens !
I'd think if he were alive today, Malcolm Forbes would prefer green. He once owned a money green Lamborghini http://www.exoticars-usa.com/?attachment_id=6551 Sent via itty bitty electrons
Forbes also had a money green Diablo, early 2wd car as I recall ETA a quick Google check reveals that the Diablo in question was apparently never owned by Mr. Forbes, so strike that from the record
