Tough search given your criteria and you may find only one car pop up every six months. Just curious - I'm not selling or buying, but why are you targeting 93 and 94? There is nothing different from a 92-94 (other than a Testarossa badge on rear satin cover and black air boxes) and the only substantive difference in a 94 is hopefully finding one with ABS, which not all the cars had ABS; even then it's been reported that some non-94s had ABS as well.
Wasn't there the upgraded differentials as well toward the later year. I know there is a thread somewhere that give the serial # that you can check against?
My friend has a 92 black on black 16k km or 10k miles needs a major he was hinting he may let it go for 185k USD.
1994 had 428 bhp instead of 421 bhp on '92-'93. The side strakes "diffuser" on the '94 was body color. From what I recall. I could be wrong. Joe
I think you are confusing Euro and US regarding HP all US 512TRs had 421HP and side strakes were inconsistent in color (color...again not a substantive difference) in 94.
Just a few changes are: the antifreeze cooling was changed along with the starter , alternator which reconfigured the wiring that got rid of that dreadful 9 pin connector. Positive terminals from the engine to the battery was updated. Bellhousing along with the diff cover was changed to accommodate a lubricating pipe.All ground cable were upgraded. I could keep going
Cosmetic was a bit less:testarossa badge on rear lid was removed . Head light motor covers went from a 1 piece to a two piece. Floor mats accomadated floor latches to keep the mats from sliding. Rear trunk latch has a cover. Fusebox mounting was upgraded. That's just some.
Im looking to buy a Testarossa (preferably the 512TR) for around 20k usd. I've seen this car for around this price so I know it exists. Any help with a link or any sellers would be greatly appreciated
