Well if it was registered...it's not new anymore :)

Also it says it has ABS?!?...I do not recall a testarossa having ABS unless it was an add on.

Good lord, that is pretty. I guess that answers if my car is missing a tool in the roll or not. I always wondered if something fell out of that empty slot.

and notice how they say "the odo is SHOWING just 500km". I'm always suspicious of these ultra-low mileage examples. 24 years... 500 km (300 miles). I dunno...

You are absolutely right here Steve ... but the new owner can only be an investor ....

So why care ? :) He can now show a red car to his friends ....

But now I also hear car drivers saying "Insurance must be doubled, will I drive it this season because it is now worth double .... ? :)

    Insane imo ...

Brand new ? That is absolutely NON-SENSE ....

All rubber and plastic parts wer made in the '80s and getting hard .... bearings are rusted by now ..... electrical components rusted and corroded ... brake seals broken ...

Brand New is an absolute idiocy .... but the mechanics here know what I am talking about, please chime in or look to their superb threads :)

Let's hope that the new owner gets this car fixed proper so that anybody in Denmark can enjoy it on the roads next years season !

Because THAT'S why these cars were built imo :)

this will be a "standing" car for the museum

    but as it is now:
    never start the engine ! ! ! ( timing belt )
    never drive it ! ! !

if the new owner like to drive this car he has first to invest a lot of money to repalce all the parts mel already has mentioned

full service history since 1981 and only 500 km?
then there is only 1 service done, as mel has written, the delivery service.
does somebody asked the seller about the "full service history"?

This car has been with the Official Ferrari dealer in Denmark, for all 27 years. I am not aware of what state the internals are in on this car.. but they surely must have had some foresight and made sure the car is driveable?? Or they would never be able to sell it. Well... I guess they didnt. Beside that one time last year, and now they have it back. Funny fact.. it was originally YELLOW. The collector that bought it last year painted it red.

Remember that the buyer paid 150% in sales tax or licensing or VAT. I do not remember exactly what the raping is called for buying a non-Dane vehicle.

No that is not a Typo.

Cars older than 30 years gets a rebate. I can't remember how much. And the 180% is for every dollar over the limit of 15.000 dollars, if its below that Price.. there is also some rebate. Electric cars are excempt from the law and gets no taxes put on them at all. But that changes next year. They will be the same as all other cars by then

Arvid, that is brutal. And you have such great roads and so much space. Can you do a getaround there? Like registering a business in the UK for a few dollars, the business buys the car, and it happens to be used in Norway every summer? And stored in UK in winter? (Would be much cheaper but maybe your authorities are onto that)??

All these tricks are most likely already done ..

We were able to lease a F car from a firm in Luxenburg ... and drive it in the Netherlands.

Now the law is changed that you may not anymore ... :)
