Anyone know who has this " testarossa " emblem reasonably?? I have been quoted $499.00 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is it the same as this? If so, from memory, I thought I read that someone was reproducing them. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Couldn't be this simple but is this it? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=181735311778&globalID=EBAY-US Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think the thickness / width of each letter looks weak..Looks like a knock off.. maybe for Kit Cars.. But Thank you. Check out the prancing horses they sell.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-Front-Grill-Flat-Prancing-Horse-Chrome-Emblem-4-1-2-New-/181781599225?vxp=mtr&hash=item2a530713f9 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-110-mm-Emblem-OEM-New-/161741344420?vxp=mtr&hash=item25a8890ea4
Interesting that it is also sold here same picture. Side note I have purchased from these folks and although sometimes it takes a while the parts are good and made in Italy. http://m.mrfiat.com/italian/ferrari/testarossa-512-tr/ferrari-testarossa-script-badge-w-3-studs.html I got my 308 badge from them and it was a good repro.. These guys might be able to help. Prices were reasonable last time I checked. Black Bart's Emporium. Page Title "..................nearly twenty-year relationship with our Italian vendor. We learned that the company was founded in 1934 by his father for the express purpose of producing badges and emblems for the Italian automotive industry. Their contributions have been so significant that they have their own space at the Turin Automotive Museum. All of the badges and emblems are produced using the original dies for the stampings, and then hand filled and finished. ..................." Page Title Item "FD/17" Script/Testarossa. Contact Jim Wallner. he has, or at least, had one. [email protected] No idea what price he would want for it. Mike
I have a "nice" gold plated one I'd sell reasonably! I've also just found these in the 450 price range. My gold ones gotta go!
Michael, Sam, others... Would anybody with a TR be so kind as so measure the mesh dimensions for the two pieces shown here with the green arrow? I'm trying to find a BB mesh replacement for the rear bonnet on my car and it looks like the honeycomb? pattern is compatible with the orientation you show. The BB original mesh is NLA. The dimensions I need are (roughly) 40" x 10". I've found raised mesh manufacturers but the mesh cell dimensions are a little off and thickness is not the same as the original. Many thanks. Thanks -- I never thought of it...I had originally found it at Eurospares about 1.5 years ago for $200 (there are some bends in the BB version and I thought I should just get it) and then it went NLA when I looked for it ago a few months ago. From materials that I found so far I was not able to replicate the same mesh opening size so we'll see in the end if I can find a TR one that may fit or have to replicate it.
