    I remember all of the hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth about this "poor cut, butchered boxer".

    I still think it's gorgeous.

    Its nice looking but dont spray water on it because those side louvers where the glass once was directly leads into the cabin! Thats how the Stramann conversions were done. Big job to undo it and its still unfortunate it was done.

    as paul and I can attest...these cut cars are best enjoyed from 10 or more feet away.

    This rear light reversal meant no drilling in metal for rear side marker when legalized for usa
    3 sq. inches is mandatory of red from side
    Most people put the orange back outside after legalization
    Or put a side marker on it
    But i am sure you were aware of that
    I remember re arranging mine after purchase.
