I Have to ask what makes it a basket case ? Seems like someone might have run out of funds? It happens. Or lose interest been there done that.

Ill have to look at this a little more and see if i can see why you say that

He took the engine out for service. Then found the suspension bushings were in need of replacing. He ordered bushings.

He works away from home 3 weeks and back for 3 weeks. Family keep him busy so car is sitting.

He is mouser57 here on Fchat.

I thihk this car could be a nice car for a DIY.

My reference to a basket-case comes from my days working on old Harley-Davidsons. A motorcycle was considered a basket-case when it was received in parts. A frame with the motor, wheels, fenders and tank, handlebars and associated controls all separated from the frame. The parts would come often in bushel baskets (i.e. basket-case). The reference was not an evaluation of the quality of the parts but the work ahead to have a complete vehicle.

Not a basket case, I have been working in South Korea since 2012 , 3 weeks in and 3 weeks out, come home family time, etc, nearing 60 years of age and can't burn the midnight oil like I used to. Money has never been a issue, if no buyers I will finish it, just may take a few more years. Thanks

Euro has no side markers. Bumpers are different.

For the look in my opinion his car is the best. Yellow on black, no side markers, the nicest rear bumper, single bolt wheels and two mirrors. It would have been the top when I was shopping for mine.

The basket-case is even older than Harley and refers to the severely mentally ill who were relegated to living in baskets to protect themselves and others. As in "Hannibal? That guy's a total basket-case!"

Unfortunately basket case has a negative connotation. The car looks spotless and a guy could do as much or as little while the engine was out. A perfect scenario for someone....and a smoking deal.

you have to visit BHCC to get a true taste of what they are selling. This is one of those cases where I don't have to worry offending somebody. Go and personally inspect their vehicles before you buy. I am talking compound polishing a rustbucket. Whats the meaning, I dont know. I have never seen paintless cars shine like those at BHCC

I have come close to buy a car from BHCC and when someone went to look at it for me and sent me HIS pictures I was glad he did.

That is why I say they are expert making car look good on pictures.
