    I own 1994 512TR vin # 97545, build date Sept.1993,engine #35260,trans#1995. The 1994 512 in the thread "nice colors on this one" has a serial #97584, build date July 1993, engine #34966, trans #1951. I assume this shows the usual discrepencies in the production line in the Ferrari factory. Any comments

    I'm no expert as I found some odd discrepancies with my 1992 512TR Japanese spec that has a serial number similar to the U.S. 1994 models and I have ABS. It seems most people use the assembly number to really know the more accurate timeline when they rolled out of the factory not the serial number.
