I have a Tubi. I once heard a Capistro on a TR, but the pitch was too high and ear splitting. Try googling video comparisons (is googling even a verb?) http://youtu.be/kuzqPREhaGc Sent by incredibly fast electrons
I have a Capristo on my TR and I'm very happy with it It's a stage 3 (not road legal) It's loud when fully open but can be quite as loud when the bypass valve is closed
I have the capristo with hyperflow cats.I forgot which one I have. The sound drones at idle and is a bit boomy when decelerating but it sounds fantastic. The car is pretty loud though. The exhaust looks great though.
Here is mine on the dyno with Capristo "Sound 2", (and a sticky throttle cable). Shots from behind are fairly accurate. Nice sound without obnoxious volume. Doesn't attract cops....much.... https://vimeo.com/8401885 ...
I've just fitted mine this week. Quite difficult as the Capristo for Testarossa is designed for the later model cars with the shorter headers and the spring style exhaust mounts. It is my understanding that you cannot fit one to an older Testa that uses the rubber mounts. So I fabricated later style mounts and welded them to the chassis and then had short connection pipes manufactured locally in polished stainless to connect to the main flanges on the Capristo.

You should take a few minutes to clean the underside of your car lol. Thanks for the input gentlemen, we ended up ordering a Tubi for the 86.
I forgot to mention, the system is running pre-cats, NO main cats, replaced with test pipes. My TR is a 1988.5.
Just for fun. If I am behind you and you look in your rear view mirror the letters spell, "MOVE IT" on the plate.
if you would be behind me I would accelerate and you only may smell my exhaust gases and the rubber form the soinning wheels thx for the answer, but if you do such in germany you may go to jail - it is illegal
Yes, I am sure you could out run me easily. As far as the license plate goes. - In some parts of this country the front plate is not required at all. - Where I live they are, (I have the correct plate under my seat) - Technically I could get pulled over for having a "fake" front plate and a ticket would be written, and of course a fine would be issued, (they have to get their money), but no Jail. - Sometimes they give a warning and all you have to do is put the correct plate back on the car and show it to them.. ** Look at the last picture in "My Garage". I was pulled over by police for speeding 10 mph over the limit. He didn't care about the front plate then. ****
it depends on the officer who stopped you from only: "this is not ok and never do this again" until jail all is posisble. just a couple of weeks ago it was in the newspaper that someone put a licenseplate in the front what was not official. it was a glued plastic foil in white with the letters and numbers in black. so looking like official. those have been legal long time ago, but not yet anymore. he had to pay after he went to court 150.000 euro because of falsification of documents
There is a difference between a "vanity" plate (with a warning from the police) and a willful attempt at fraud, such as you describe above, hence the stiff fine. Here is my new one for this BMW I just picked up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
