I have this gorgeous 365 BB with just 4,900 miles available. Considering 365 BBs are approximately as rare as Lussos, if ever there was an emerging Ferrari Classic it has to be the early 365 Berlinetta Boxer, a car designed and built during Enzo Ferrari's tenure, this really was Ferrari's first mid-engined Supercar for the road, even before the Supercar series officially began. This Downdraft Carburetted 365 Boxer is simply put the nicest Boxer I have seen thus far, and priced fairly. Thank you for all the kind words gentlemen! I forgot to mention, this Blu Scuro 365 Berlinetta Boxer which was completed at Maranello on July the 16th 1975 is matching numbers and Classiche Certified. It is also well-maintained and drives superbly.
Fantastic car. I had an opportunity to get into a similar car (with a blown motor) in the EU some 16 years or so again for a relative pittance, but everyone stateside advised totally against ever getting a carbureted Boxer as they would, according to these 'experts', never be worth anything! GLWS
joe, this looks like aleventhal's car...is it? was it? if so, the resto would have been done buy berlinetta motors to a high standard. can you confirm joe? best,
That's a different car. I have heard that Berlinetta have done excellent work on a number of 365 BBs.
Blu Scuro, the color of the thread's subject, is non-metallic. Its also sublimely beautiful. I stood there as my son took the images posted above (yes, he's quite good) and I thought to myself that this is one of the coolest Ferraris I have ever seen. If you are a non-red Ferrari fan, this is the car non plus ultra.
