    Dear all,

i remember that the factory , and some selected few Dealers, have testarossa in a Long run test.
the Dealers have to Report to the factory about it.
now , where i can find a Picture of such a testarossa ?

    i'm sure i see one old b/w pic somewhere...but doesn't remember where...
i checked my old Cavallino Magazins, few books,etc....no luck.

    anyone that can help ?
    thanks in advance

Hi Ivo, I'm not sure what you mean by long run tests, do you mean mules? (pre-production test cars?) I have pictures of testarossa test cars somewhere in my computer but I'm not sure that's what you mean.

    Hello Christophe,
The pictures of the test mules would be also interesting.
What i mean is, pics of the testarossa that were used for long run test, driven many kilometers to check their functionality etc.. I remember to see a car with the sticker: test durata.

Whoooooa, a single low mirror TR? Looks like the rumors I heard for the mid A-pillar placement were true (that Ferrari misunderstood the US import rules)!

Look at the additional "peak" or "ridge" on top of the rear fenders, it looks kind of cool by itself but certainly doesn't flow with the rest of the car's shape. Very cool pictures!

I understand the fake ridges on the fenders to hide the shape, but whats going on with the patina look? Black duct tape?

I remember in about 1984 in some newspaper I have seen those photos, or may be not those photos but this car wih the "strange" back fenders.
but at that time I have seen those photos the first TR´s also have been already delivered
