    Too many to choose from,
There are soo many Testas for sale right now! I cannot recall when I have ever been able to find such a cornucopia of Testarossas and 512TR for sale online at one time! Even the 512M seems easy.

Did a gang of Speculators list all at once? Is it just a summer thing? Am I alone with this feeling? Any opinions?

a low mile TR just sold this weekend at auction for 179K sterling. other than that I haven't been watching the TRs

I usually watch out for 94 512trs and I don't see many of those

I keep an eye on F512Ms here in Europe. There have usually been between 2 and 5 for sale, continent-wide, all the time over the past 3 years. Situation today is similar. Asking prices are another matter.

There were 501 512Ms, 2280 512 TRs and 7177 Testarossas made, so it would be logical to expect there to be roughly four to five times as many 512 TRs for sale, and 10-15 times as many Testarossas.

Parenthetically, there does seem to be a lot of stock around of other cars. Lots of 550s, 911 Turbos, and F1 575s. There are eight F50s up for sale in continental Europe on just one website, which seems a lot for a car with a total production run of 349 units.

This could be speculators, it could be long-term owners who have seen the price rises and decided to cash in, or...

There is always an uptick in sports car sales in late spring, early summer. IIRC I see about 8-9 Tr's for sale in the winter months at a specific time on Ebay and see about 16-20 for sale in the summer months.

16-20 might have been no shock to me but,
Ebay alone has just under 40 testas listed right now! thats testa 512tr 512m included. twice what would be expected

They've no doubt seen the flat valuation numbers from Hagerty and are thinking their investment has reached its zenith. We all know better though. :)

I was told from a dealer friend that normal mile (20-30K) 512TR's are being offered in the sub 200K's.

Great cars however just a bit to much to fast, a bit of a correction then a stabilization I would guess.

I would think the same thing but the asking prices seems to keep inching up and up. The normal 512TR was in the $80-100k range when I was shopping in late 2012 so your figure seems about right....double over 2012 prices.

Global economic uncertainty is triggering a sell off of luxury items and things not needed to survive every day life. I foresee a tough couple of years ahead for the classic car market.

Greg, that seems a tad extreme. But time will tell.
Also speaking of "extreme" I keep staring at your last name! Have you ever met anyone with a longer last name? That must have been torture to get used to when you learned to write as a child. Wow

Last check 33 TR's and 10 512's on Ebay (some dupes there), 6 TRs on Manheim. Availability has increased, prices have flattened out, demand seems to be softening. Lambo's are seeing similar factors. The ship may have sailed, at least until the economic outlook and markets get better.

There is a ship here in NL/Europe :D

It may be interesting for you ... there is a very good TR for sale here in NL ... listed for KEuro 120 at the dealer ... but due to divorce may go now for only KEuro 90 ...
