TR coolant hose positioning on pipe

    Pic of TR coolant pipe, does the rubber hose butt up against the ridge marked in red or does it go over the ridge into the area I marked in blue? And the hose clamp goes in between the two ridges?
    I have both these configurations on my car and wondering which one is correct.
    Also what is the correct length of the 1 3/8" coolant hoses, mine has some that are cut to 3 1/2", 3 3/4 & 4".
    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hose goes past the blue. Clamp goes between the ridges...

    At least that's how the Ferrari dealer did mine.
