87 TR A/C not blowing cold

    A/C system is functioning and the evaporator core is cold, but only hot air blows out of the vents. The temperature control dial/switch seems to be functional (via voltage & resistance test) but does not change the temperature coming out of the vents. Any thoughts??? Temperature blend door motor/actuator? Where is the blend door motor/actuator located and how to access it? Thanks in advance for the help!

    There's no "temperature blend door" (the system either runs the compressor to add "cold" or opens the hot water valve to add "hot") -- if you've confirmed the evaporator is cold (and refrigerant is flowing in the sight glass on the dryer), but only hot air comes out, I'd confirm/deny the operation of the hot water valve (if you do a search on the F PN for the hot water valve or "hot water valve" in the TR section, you should get some prior threads). The system has to actively hold the hot water valve closed by applying +12V when requesting cold, or when the AC system is off, so a bad hot water valve or an electrical problem can wrongly open it and let hot coolant flow.
