Hello all, I been having a problem with my clutch. When the car first starts everything is fine. After about 20 min of driving the clutch is really sticky. I can push the peddle and disengage with no problem. But it takes about 3 to 5 seconds after I shift for it the engage. It's like it's gummed up. I bleed the system and it has fresh fluid. I'm thinking it might be the master cylinder??? Thanks for any advice Sean

I just did a bunch of stuff to my clutch, feel free to look up the thread. Seems like you might have a leak somewhere, possibly the thrust race (not the bearing). Take your bellhousing off and see if you're leaking fluid in there. If it is the race, it is easy to replace the seals.

Recently I replaced the clutch too. The thrust bearing is pushed back by the blades on the pressure plate. Can't see why it would become slow. Could it be that pressure is not being relieved when de-clutching? Any noises when releasing the clutch pedal? By the time the bell housing is removed you might as well replace the clutch and bearing if worn.

Im replacing slave TO and clutch. Is it normal to do the flywheel too? It's looks ok but I been told if I don't get a new one I might get some vibration. Any thoughts on this. Thanks SPM

    I would resurface the flywheel.

So far I replaced the master, slave, bearing and got a new pressure plate and clutch assy. I'm going to turn the old flywheel and that should do it. SPM

Any rubber lines for the clutch fluid?

Over time the rubber swells and can get so bad that fluid pressure doesn't get relieved straight away, but has to leak down. Might be a cheap solution....
