Hello. This is my first time post. Just wondering if anyone knows this car. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
would be great to fill out your profile before asking here and also introduce yourself a little that would help us all and and also you thank you
Hi. I'm normally on Pelican and Renlist for my Porsches and Benzworld for my E55. I live in Tokyo. I came across an ad for this car. The asking price is way too low but the seller claims to be in Dubai and wants me to contribute my personal information to an escrow company, which seems ligit. I've done international deals before but something doesn't feel right. Just wondering if anyone here might recognize these photos. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Welcome to Ferrari Chat! That car looks great in those pics. The number plate looks European or British, as does the scenery behind the Ferrari. Lol Definitely does not look like Dubai in those pics, it's too 'green' to be Dubai. I would walk away from this deal. Remember, if it's too good to be true it usually is.
Just putting these pics up for everyone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello from Germany ! Be careful. The car was first on mallorca for 72 T. Second on Jersey Island UK also for 72 T. Third in Rome for about 310 T and the seller changed his Name. Best regards FM 133 Peter
He says in in Jersey hence the local dealer sticker. Wondering if there is a way to flush out these scammers. But my time is worth a lot more I guess. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
That's right mate, focus your energy on finding another car and forget scammers like this. Good luck with finding that BB you want.
call their bluff and ask where the car can be inspected in person. there are members here all over the world, chances are someone wouldn't mind looking to see if it is legit, and if not put the scammer on notice. Unless I knew the seller of a fully documented car by reputation or personally, I can't see me EVER buying a high dollar car without title insurance either.
Beware escrow companies. They are certainly not all legit. And if you don't have a contract, or even if you do, you may not get what you expect. Dubai law? First camel wins.
