Round about this time of year i start to get my driving Jonses. One of the cup is half full benefits of living in snow territory is that each spring breaking out the cars is like a whole new experience all over gain.

Today I was in the garage and pulled the cover off the BBI to put the new insurace cards in it. I just looked and thought wow I own this, how awesome.

It being feb and all, the days are getting longer and its a mere 2-3 months before we can start driving gain. Cant wait.

Much better than the Kitty cats the kids use to have. We had a Motoski cadet which was a nice size too.

After being in FL for 2 weeks, I wanted to take the cars out for a drive/exercise. Was hoping for tomorrow as temps were to be in mid 40s, then we got a dusting of snow here in NYC/Long Island & and I saw the sand trucks out. Not sure what happened put on the island where I store my cars, but I have my fingers crossed.

Im slightly jealous but at the same time I drive my cars 5 times a week at least so when december comes I've pretty much had enough and enjoy the other cars I haven't been using for months. When the spring comes Im excited again to break out the boxer and 400 and start the cycle all over again!

Yes, I went to go for a drive. I live in Brooklyn and store my cars on Long Island. The problem is Long Island is split into two counties, Nassau which borders a bourough of NYC and Suffolk which borders Nassau and goes to the end of Long Island - Montalk (south shore) & Orient Point(north shore). Okay, geography over. My cars are in Suffolk and the idiots put salt down on the roads for less than an inch of snow. Just asinine and it would have been a good day for a drive. I'll have to wait for rain to wash the roads clean. :-(

The head of the street departments cousin Guido has a contract with the county for salt.

In Texas we use the salt on our hushpuppies.

Yep, that's my feeling. Reality, the morons who wrote the budget get concerned about not using it up and having to actually save money by lowering next year's budget because we've had milder winters with less snow storms. Same snow amounts but generally in one big storm vs multiple storms.
