My 91 Swiss spec TR has a new fuel smell in the cabin with the windows closed (but without any a/c running) while driving. As part of a recent major I recently replaced: hoses between tanks and fuel pumps fuel return hoses to tanks fuel filters + washers fuel accumulators (no seeping) braided steel fuel lines from metering unit to fuel filters fuel vent hoses from tank to filler neck all hose clamps I have driven it for 4-500 km in the last month after the major service. The fuel smell only started yesterday. When I hit the brakes and fuel sloshes around I smell gas (when I accelerate I do not smell gas). When I open the gas cap pressure vents (I do not recall this before). Fuel tank is 1/4 full. I will recheck all my hose clamps. An other ideas?
On my 512 TR ...After using uv dye and a ultra violet light it end up being fuel vent from neck to tank ...Small hose clamp ...The uv dye really was easy Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
Here is a link of the dye I used Interdynamics 374CS Certified A/C Pro Oil and Fuel Systems UV Dye https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002M4G24U/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_hLFSybG2Q0YNF Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
