Outstanding car Bill. 1) How's she been with reliability? 2) I believe the mileage claim on the car was something like 21/28 which floored me. What's the actual mileage like? 3) Maintenance cost. Belts on the V8tt are supposed to be done every two years, is that correct?
Also they're my favorite. I use to owned these models back in 05-06. 1. 77 S1 Black (Pix can be view at www.carcrazycentral.com) 2. 78 S2 White 3. 79 S2 JPS No.100 Black 4. 95 S4S yellow(Pix can be view at www.carcrazycentral.com) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Sorry about the delay in answering......somehow missed this post........ 1. Been incredible. Gas and fluid changes is IT (oil, coolant, etc.). 2. Yeah, I get around 26-27 on the freeway. Thing is awesome. 3. The major service (belts, waterpump, etc.) is only $1800!! WAY cheaper than either of my two Ferraris I had before. On a side note, I have owned 3 911-style Porsches and 2 Ferraris. This is my favorite car BY FAR.
pics of my modified 89 SE. sold it last year for $17,500. my friends liked it more than i did. How are those '80s Esprit Turbos to drive/maintain? I know the V8s are usually considered the best mechanically, but the '80s cars have all the knife-edge styling that made the car such an icon.
My Lotus knowledge is limited, but I was told by several people the 4cyl S4 and S4s are the 'best mechanically.' Just repeating hearsay.
