Dang, must be an optical illusion as that car looks really small next to him. Either that or that guy is like 10' tall.....

That front is now even worse looking now. It looks like some cheap tuner kit.

To me it looks much better than the Mp4 (esp after seeing pictures of it parked outside). The wheels arent perfect but that's an easy fix.

does anybody understand why they brought this model out now?
to me it seems they cut the mp4-12c off at the knees, and used values will drop as well. and they did not do the p1 any favors either since the numbers would indicate that the 650s is nearly as good as the p1 for 25% of the price or less.

overall, seems like a marketing blunder.

Because they can't sell any more 12c's. All production is going to the 650s to try to get sales moving again.

    Between those numbers.

They aren't building any more coupes. I don't know about spiders.

I've said many times that if a good used one showed up at $150k it would be really tempting. I think it's very reliable and those people that own them put a lot more miles on them than F car drivers.

Dropped by the new McLaren dealer here in Tysons for the first time yesterday, sat in an MP4 for the first time yesterday as well. If I do another rear engine, mother of God, was it sweet. Volcano orange may be my favorite color...ever. EVER. Really impressed by the fit and finish compared. I would LOVE to have one of these in the garage next to the 612. Driving the 612 today, I just love it to pieces. I could see upgrading to an OTO, but I love the 612 and want to stay in one indefinitely. But I could see dumping the redundant GranTurismo for an MP4 next year, business permitting. Would have to keep true to the diet and exercise though. It's not a car for a fat guy to crawl out of at cars & coffee.

Between 12C Coupes and Spiders they've sold roughly 3,500 cars.
