Yeah, that's old news. The car that everyone thought was going to rival the Speciale is the 650S, which is actually the refreshed 12C.

 

I start to think McLaren make it up as they go along and the PR department has to then try to make sense of it.

LoL told you it was not true, mate. Don't believe everything you read on those websites. I knew about the 650S and that it was going to be replacing the 12C long before it was unveiled. Now whether you want to believe me or not is your problem. Luckily, I have never been proved wrong yet.
