Ok I have to ask, I have a DB9 and know what the "DB" stands for just a coincidence that that is your name or not? .
I went to high school with a David Brown, and there was a teacher with the same name...pretty common.
Hi Dave, I used to know a guy from Chicago with your name. We had a blues band back then while I was a student there. Could you be one in the same? BTW we have like tastes. I own a DB9. Best, Tom
Hi Dave, No didn't go to NU. Was at U of C. We had an 8 piece blues band (4 horns). Dave Brown was our lead singer and he also played trombone. This was 30 years ago. We used to play at clubs in south side of Chicago. It was a lot of fun and a great release. It was a long shot but I thought I'd ask. How do u like your DB9?
Hey, you were within 20 miles. We did get some Alpha Delts from U of C dropping by once in a while at the frat house. They were always welcome. The best part of the DB9 is its unique ability to attract conversations with random people. The other day at a light, a younger guy leans out the passenger window and asks if I had any Grey Poupon. I'm still laughing as I just happened to be returning from the grocery store and had a bottle to offer. I offered him a burger to go with it, but he couldn't come up with a witty response. Wish I had that one on tape.
