I have a Lotus Elan 2 Plus 2 along with a TVR 2500M (with a 3rd Stromberg). The Lotus feels a bit like a kit car...but has a low Cd and is so light that it gets up to speed real good. It is elegant looking and steady at speed. Had to put in a bigger radiator because of cooling problems. Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious broke down 3x in one day. This was consistent with Colin Chapman's approach to the commercial end of his business of racing. Never felt hugely comfortable with the Elan through the twisties despite installing bigger brakes. Maybe it was a servo issue. The TVR is less roomy, but better through the twisties. It feels like a well built Lotus (more solid). It's one of the best deals around.
