    Under what conditions does the car make 750 crank hp? Combination of ecu and full exhaust? How much more boost pressure over stock to make 750 crank hp and how much of that is rwhp?

    The Tuning kit was co-developed by Fabspeed Motorsport USA and Essing Performance Center in the Netherlands. EPC started development close to 12 months ago at their dedicated engineering facility with several MP4-12C cars.

    Fabspeed Motorsport USA contracted and paid for the Exclusive development with Twan at EPC to develop this McLaren MP4-12C Tuning Kit as I could find no reliable tuning solutions for these McLaren cars. These McLaren cars can not be flashed and certain tuning kits give very short terms power gains that are not that significant at best and worst of all we have seen that the McLaren ECUs learn in a very short time that certain boost criteria that have exceeded predetermined values and the McLaren Continetal Siemens ECUs cuts back on the power immediately.

    It is IMPOSSIBLE properly flash tune the newest Continental dba Siemens ECUs as these dual ECus are fully encrypted and uncrackable. In addition, the OEM manufacturers have adopted this new platform and monitor and rewrite software versions almost monthly which again defeats flash tuning and 2 channel tuning kits.

    The McLaren Mp4-12C required a complete 4 channel dedicated tuning system that intercepts the 4 channels of engine data (6 sensors) as Rob Bell explained in the Video. The Fabspeed Motorsport Mp4-12C wiring harness and system intercepts these 6 separate engine data outputs and the tuning module interprets the data and safely tunes the car. EPC and Fabspeed developed the kit on European and USA specification global cars. We also fined tuned the data again with even faster CPUs in revised tuning modules.

    To answer your question I will have to have Dave Wollman and Rob Bell pull up more Dyno data. But recently we had a McLaren on our Dyno Jet all wheel drive Dyno with 92 octane gasoline and the car had our HJS German highflow catalytic converters and in conjunction with 95 degrees and high humidity the car laid down 606HP to all 4 tires. with a 25% gain due to frictions losses to all 4 wheels the car made 757.5HP to the crank. Some all wheel drive companies advise using a 30% mark-up for RWHP to Engine HP in that case 606HP equates to 787.8HP at the crankshaft.

    At Fabspeed Motorsport in Fort Washington PA we could NOT get enough airflow on the car despite having a huge BAPRO Dyno fan from Italy on the McLarens nose and 2 guys standing with scroll fans on both sides of the car. If we could have gotten sufficient airflow the car would have picked up another 30HP. Driving the tuned McLaren the highway immediately outside our facility on the same 95 degree day and the car definitely picked up the extra 30+HP and is a beast.

    Essing develops tuning kits for many cars, trucks and boats and has an engineering technical center with an all wheel drive DYNO with data acquisition and logging. EPC also has relationships with several airfields and airbases for high speed testing and durability testing. Together EPC and Fabspeed are additional tuning MP4-12C for racing gasoline, MP4 12C for NO catalytic converters and other simple bolt-on modifications.

    The McLaren MP4-12Cs can not be simply tuned as usually and these cars require a dedicated 4 channel tuning system or the car will NOT give you real power. Trust me these are the facts and I will have my guys post more data. These Fabspeed and EPC results were NOT adjusted and were not altered and NO correction factors were used. The Fabspeed Motorsport Dyno Jet has an automated weather station so there are no inputs required.

    Another great feature of the Fabspeed EPC tuning kit is that it is a simple quick PLUG & PLAY system and is completely undetectable to any McLaren dealership and emissions testing MOT centre. The bespoke custom made wiring harness utlizes OEM factory McLaren electrical connectors and is a simple plaug and play and is looks completely stock. An Mp4-12C owner or tuning shop can simple install and or remove the Fabspeed mClaren tuning kit in under 1 hour in the event you trade the car in and or want to swap the tuning kit to another car.

    Thanks Joe! How does the launch control feature work with the added power? Any issues with tire spin? What kind of 0 to 60 and 0 to 100 and quarter mile times have they seen when testing the cars? I would assume they are using vbox.
