I won't have been alone in getting a safety recall letter this morning for a potential fault in the heated seats. I generally don't drive as if my pants are on fire, but it is an interesting new feature! One day I was driving my Audi and apparently my mom left the seat heater on when I dropped her off. As I headed to court, I smelled smoke and I saw a stream of smoke coming up from the burning leather on the seat bolster, about the size of a cigarette burn. Car was already 12 years old by that point so I didn't bother with it.
