    Not sure where to post this. British or Chicago. Does anyone know of a restoration shop for Lotus in the Chicagoland/mid-west region?

    What do you need doing Joe?

    For interiors, Skip McCabe in Mudelein.
    Engines, Ken Baurle or Barry Sale.
    Fiberglass / fab, Ken Baurle

    Give the guys at Muncie Import & Classics (Muncie, IN) a call. They did a nut & bolt restoration on my '64 E-type that is stunning...even 7 years later.

    I think about both guys building twin cams. Give 'em a call and tell them what you want.

    I know both individuals. Ken and Barry are mates. Ken built and looked after the Élan I raced. Builds a race winning car. Both can build race winning engines just not sure of their experience with the engine you reference.

    Good luck. Be an interesting dialog with the guys.

    Looking at a '89 Esprit with no records. The names mentioned are unfamiliar. Are they owners of a shop here in Illinois?

    Joseph, yes, the guys I reference are all in the greater Chicagoland region.

    Ken runs a race shop which means he can fab pretty much anything and build pretty much anything. Based in Sugar Grove.

    Barry runs PHP, a race engine rebuild service. Will also do street motors. Not sure of his exact location but Illinois for sure.

    Skip runs McCabe a Automotive in Mundelien. When I was last there he had the Ingrid Bergman Ferrari there.

    All are great guys.
