Wow Michael. That looks fantastic. My '66 E-type FHC - in desperate need of a restoration - and I are jealous! :)

Every once in a while, when I think I should just sell my car and move on, I see something like this that inspires me to restore it - though maybe more to #2 driver condition rather than a 100 pt show car.

Your OTS is magnificent. Who did the restoration, if you don't mind my asking?

What does the rear look like - a Series 1? My guess is, as the heritage cert says, it's a '67, but you did say the "1.5" interior.

Personally, I like the S2 interior, but the bonnet and rear lights aren't anywhere near as nice as the S1.

Like @malex - I also own a jealous '66 FHC!!! This car looks fantastic, if it's yours - best of luck! If for sale, I can only ask what are you asking???

Beautiful. I just bought a 71 Series 2 OTS, one of the last 6-cylinders before they started the Series 3.

I just can't stop driving it. I love my Ferraris, but there is just something magical about an E-Type.

I agree... You just dont want to shut the engine off...its happy running around the clock..
The car is so easy to drive..and the suspension is so comfortable...
You look for places to go..and then look some more......
I raced a fiat abarth the weekend...I won but only by a bit!!!

the wire wheels have a wide offset, do you have any tire rubbing when turning full lock?
    what brand are they?

    Beautiful!
Looks like a '67. 68 series 1.5 would not have the covered headlights.

if a 68, possible a 67 bonnet installed? thats one way to maximize resale of a 68 with open headlights.

This car ...built late 67, probably one of the first 1.5's made.
Titled 1968 in January 68. Original converted headlight bonnet, engine, trans and chassis.
Most certainly a 1.5....brought back..virtually remanufactured to all series 1 specifications except interior.
Purchased at half the price of the identical condition car of mid 67 manufacture, and less than the cost of the identical remanufacture restoration.
The attraction to me is a perfect xke at less than half the price of same earlier vintage.
Very driveable and certainly very Beautiful and virtually new.
