    I'm thinking it's time to sell my XJS-12. I've had it for a few years, it runs but it's difficult to get started. As it's been sitting, the battery is dead and the tires (which were already dry rotted) are going flat.

    Body has some dings and very little rust. Had a respray maybe 10 years ago, it's not horrible, but not show quality. Interior is fairly decent, and I have books / records, even the original owner's cassette tape (in box).

    It's not terrible, but definitely needs work. I know these cars aren't worth much, but I'm curious what the market would bear. $2-3K?

    Sounds about right. A few of the parts should make it worth that to someone who has another one.
