If that's it, then I don't like what I see. It's missing a rear wing or accent of some sort. Too smooth and too much like the 570 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Will obviously need better pics to judge. Might also be color sensitive. That being said, McLarens aren't exactly the best looking cars out there.
Saw the spy pics before as well and found that the windscreen sits too far forward. Find it here as well. Not a good start.
Like it. Other renderings I saw looked too much like the 570. If this is the real deal, looks bigger longer sleeker. Not too shabby. Obviously the performance is going to be off the chain. 650 prices are going to drop so if anyone wants to get one on the cheap, might be a good time to add to the stable.
Glad it looks different from the 650s and more like the P1. Lots of 'Italian' flare. No body side vents? That's a positive change for a turbo mid-engined car. Setting the design aside, the P14's performance will raise the bar for everyone. I have been waiting for the final spec's of the P14 before I put down the $20K dealer deposit for my 488. It will be a tough decision to make.
I think it looks gorgeous. Very clean and stylish. It may just be me, but I see something in the lines that reminds me of the F1 and Jag XJ220. This is a good thing. Wonder what colour that is. I could definitely see myself driving it.
Quite nice. Frank Stephenson Santos needed some time but he's getting the McLaren styling right, this is a lot more attractive than the"generic" sports car that the Mp4-12c was.
The P14 has some frontal F430 resemblance (Frank Stephenson contributed to the F430 design), as well new NSX frontal styling cues; the rear of the greenhouse echoes both Pagani and the 458 Italia; and the quarter panels and taillights (in side view) show a lot of 458 influence. On balance, while quite derivative of a number of recent designs, it is a handsome automobile. It at least breaks the "cookie-cutter" style of all McLaren designs since the MP4 12C. Fred

Thank you for posting Jordan. Very clean and smooth. Performance will be off the charts, I'm sure and a nice alternative to those looking for something other than a F Car. Cheers
Must admit, I keep coming back to this thread to see those pics. With better handling than an LT675 and 720 PS, that's very tempting. I guess we now know what Ferrari is shooting for with the 488VS
Honestly looks weird without a wing. I typically think mclarens are ugly but the 675 lt was so insane beautiful and this just looks meh imo
Has an active aero rear wing, according to Mclaren (official website) and they tease with a pic of the spoiler raised.
I like the front portion but the rear side just looks off to me. The rear wheels don't seem to fit into the wells, the flares are too far out and have an awkward shape. It just does not flow like a 458 or the 675 LT. Of course this is personal preference, but the black roof and camera angle makes the whole shape just look off. I will wait to see it in person but so far I'm not a fan Image Unavailable, Please Login
This rendering is pretty much spot on and shows off the 3/4 angle. The car is a total departure and sure to grow on us as all completely new exotics do. There'll be some love/hate but alas it all comes down to taste. My favorite thing is that when you're in Race mode the dash drops down to where you only see an rpm bar and what gear you're in, don't neeed to know speed when on track. I'll be at the private showing in early February so I can lend my feedback afterwards. No photos as it's clearly stated that we are not allowed to bring any devices in with us. That looks superb! Very technical. The aero will be awesome to see in action. Compared to the 650s, this is a super model. We should all be delighted that this exists. Ferraris response will have to be extraordinary- and I have no doubt it willl be.
